Wedding video editing for studios: the Studio Plan
A dedicated editor, three highlight films every month and a 10-day turnaround. A predictable editing cost for studios that shoot all year.
- $899/month
- 3 highlight edits
- Dedicated editor
- 10-day turnaround
- Pause anytime
What is the Studio Plan?
The Studio Plan is a monthly wedding editing plan for studios and busy videographers: $899 a month for three highlight edits, a dedicated editor who learns your style, and a 10-day turnaround. Each edit keeps its own revisions, and you can pause the plan anytime, which helps in the off-season.
Why a dedicated editor matters
The same editor handles your weddings month after month. They learn how you open a film, the music you like, how much speech audio you use and how warm you grade. First drafts need fewer notes. Your films stay consistent, no matter how many weddings you shoot or how many shooters you send out.
With per-project ordering you get a skilled editor and your style sheet. With the Studio Plan you also get continuity: one person who knows your work.
What’s included every month
- 3 highlight films (4–6 minutes each)
- A dedicated editor and your own style sheet
- 10-day turnaround on each edit
- Revisions per item, reviewed in Frame.io
- Color grading, licensed music, multicam sync and project files
- White-label delivery and a free NDA
- Pause anytime
Is the Studio Plan cheaper than ordering highlight films one by one?
Three highlight films ordered individually cost $349 each. The Studio Plan is $899 a month for three, and adds a dedicated editor and a faster 10-day turnaround. If you shoot fewer than three weddings in a given month, pause the plan instead of paying for edits you don’t need.
| Per project | Studio Plan | |
|---|---|---|
| 3 highlight films | 3 × $349 | $899/month |
| Turnaround | 14 business days each | 10-day turnaround |
| Editor | Any editor on the team, with your style sheet | One dedicated editor |
| Commitment | None | Monthly; pause anytime |
Who the plan is for
- Studios shooting three or more weddings most months
- Multi-shooter teams that need one consistent house style
- Agencies running several brands, each with its own style sheet
- Solo filmmakers in peak season who want a fixed editing cost they can plan around
Shooting fewer than three weddings a month? Per-project ordering, or the Complete Suite for couples who want everything, will suit you better.
How onboarding works for studios
- Kick-off. You send your style brief, reference films, LUTs, title templates and any brand guidelines. Running several brands? Send one brief per brand.
- Your dedicated editor builds your style sheet from those materials.
- First edit and calibration. Your first highlight film is reviewed closely. Your notes refine the style sheet.
- Monthly rhythm. Send footage as weddings happen. Each edit has a 10-day turnaround and its own revisions.
- Pause in the quiet months. Pick it back up when bookings return.
Managing footage from several shooters
Multi-shooter studios have a specific problem: three shooters, three slightly different ways of covering a day. Your dedicated editor learns each shooter’s habits (which camera covers what, how audio is set up) and edits to one house style. Clean folder structure helps, and our footage handoff guide has a template you can share with your team.
More than three weddings a month?
Order additional films at standard package prices, or request a quote for higher volume and we’ll put a fixed price in writing. Teasers, full films, ceremony and speech edits and reels can be added to any wedding.
How pausing works
Studio Plan billing dates, pausing, cancellation and any rollover of unused edits are agreed with you in writing before your first month starts, so the terms fit your season and volume.
Built for agencies running multiple brands
Running more than one brand or shooter team? Each gets its own style sheet, and every deliverable is white-label by default. See white-label editing.
Frequently asked questions
How does the Studio Plan work?
The Studio Plan is $899 a month for 3 highlight edits, a dedicated editor who learns your style, and a 10-day turnaround. You can pause it anytime, which is useful in the off-season.
Will my clients know I outsourced the edit?
Not from us. Every deliverable is white-label by default: unbranded, no watermarks, no credits. We sign an NDA on request, free, before your first project, and we never contact your clients.
Can you match my editing style?
Yes, that’s the core of the job. Send a short style brief and two or three of your own films, with notes on pacing, music, color and must-include moments. Your editor builds a style sheet from them, and every edit is checked against it in our two-stage review before you see it.
How long does editing take?
Turnaround is counted in business days from when we have your complete footage and brief: speech and ceremony edits 5, teasers and social reels 7, highlight films 14, full wedding films and the Complete Suite 21. Studio Plan edits have a 10-day turnaround. Rush (+$99) halves teaser and highlight turnaround.
