1. Data we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, studio name, website, country, project details and messages sent through our forms or by email.
  • Project materials: footage, audio and briefs you share for editing (see the footage policy).
  • Payment information: payments are made by Wise or bank transfer, so we receive the payer details those services provide (such as account name and payment reference). We don’t take or store card numbers.
  • Usage data: we don’t currently use website analytics, and we don’t use advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to inquiries and quotes
  • To deliver editing services, invoices and support
  • To improve our website using aggregate statistics
  • To meet legal obligations

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use your data or footage to train AI systems.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers that help us operate: website hosting, form handling and email (Hostinger), file transfer (Google Drive, Dropbox), review (Frame.io) and payments (Wise and our bank). Each processes data on our instructions.

5. International transfers

We work remotely with clients worldwide, so data may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Inquiry data: 24 months. Customer and invoice records: as long as tax law requires. Footage: 90 days after delivery; backups within 30 days (see the footage policy).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR/UK GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email hello@weddingvideoseditor.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

Our website is served over HTTPS. Footage transfers use HTTPS/TLS, and access is limited to the assigned editor and reviewer.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.
